Short Story Contest- Concurso de Relatos

“Tired of watching dull films, Bogey?”

Are you tired of watching boring films, too? The English department of Escuela de Idiomas Tres Cantos gives you the chance to become a top screenwriter for a day: use one of the sentences below (depending on your level), which have been taken from different films, to start your own story with.  The story needs to be between 100 and 150 words long depending on the level ( Basic level 100, Intermediate level 125 and Advanced level and C1 level 150) and must definitely not be based on the films where these lines appeared originally. Hollywood needs you!
Good luck, and may the imagination be with you!

Basic level 1 and 2 (100 words)
- “There’s no place like home”
- “I’ll think about that tomorrow”
- “Well, nobody is perfect”

Intermediate level 1 and 2 (125 words)
 - “Go ahead, make my day”
- “I’m the king of the world”
- “I don’t’ want to survive, I want to live”

Advanced level 1 and 2, C1 level (150 words)
- “Money won is twice as sweet as money earned”
- “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn”
- “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse”
